Pulaski, NY—Fulton (www.fulton.com), a global manufacturer of steam, hydronic and thermal fluid heat transfer products and provider of innovative energy management solutions, recently expanded its line of popular Vantage series condensing hydronic boilers to include a low emissions model.
Available in 3 million BTU/hr (VTG-3000LE) and 4 million BTU/hr variations (VTG-4000LE), the emissions capabilities of the new Vantage boiler feature less than 9ppm NOx, which can be achieved across all ambient conditions while maintaining ultra-high-efficient operation and full modulation.
All Vantage boiler models are exceptionally tolerant of varying system conditions. The boilers feature a robust condensing heat exchanger of Duplex alloy steel, offering superior corrosion resistance and low thermal expansion rates, making the boilers an ideal choice for ultra-high-efficiency condensing applications.
High product mass and large pressure vessel water volume design removes minimum water temperature requirements and reduces sensitivity to varying flow conditions, eliminating the need for boiler temperature control valves. Lower return water temperatures promote condensing of the flue gases and increase the Vantage boiler efficiency.
“By offering a low emissions model of the Vantage boiler, we’ve taken an already high-efficiency product and made it that much more environmentally responsible,” said Erin Sperry, commercial heating product manager, Fulton Heating Solutions. “At Fulton, we’ve really turned our attention to offering products and systems that will not only help commercial building owners and managers to save money on their energy bills, but also reduce the facility’s environmental impact by taking advantage of new, sustainable and energy-efficient technologies.”
The Vantage line of condensing hydronic boilers also offers a model with dual fuel natural gas/propane and natural gas/#2 oil capabilities, and was, in fact, the first condensing boiler to offer operation on #2 oil as a backup fuel. The boiler offers efficiencies up to 91 percent when operating on #2 oil.
