Fulton Expands ModSync Product Line, Adds Remote Monitoring System
Pulaski, NY—Fulton (www.fulton.com), a global manufacturer of steam, hydronic and thermal fluid heat transfer products and provider of innovative energy management solutions, recently expanded its popular ModSync product line to include the ModSync LX and inSite Remote Monitoring system.

The ModSync Sequencing System is used as a common interface for multiple condensing boiler systems. The ModSync controls the staging and firing rate of each condensing boiler to maximize system efficiencies and provide substantial energy savings. Outdoor temperature reset, lead/lag functions and firing rate control are just a few of the ModSync’s capabilities. The ModSync logic is also fully customizable for any system design, including hybrid (condensing/non-condensing boilers in a common loop), steam boiler and thermal fluid heater installations.

As the latest addition to Fulton’s energy management product line, the ModSync LX features a 12.1-inch color touchscreen and user-friendly interface that provides detailed information of the system status and operating parameters. Wireless boiler interfacing and text messaging options are also available.

“The ModSync control logic was specifically designed to generate the highest efficiencies possible for multiple condensing boiler installations. The correct sequencing and firing rate control is critical for capitalizing on the energy savings associated with these ultra-high-efficiency boiler designs,” stated Joel Southwell, Fulton’s director of energy management systems and controls.

“The inSite Remote Monitoring system, which we showcased during the 2010 AHR Expo in Orlando, Fla., provides the added ability to monitor a ModSync installation using a standard web browser,” Southwell continued. “System performance trending is monitored by an inSite engineer, and ModSync parameter adjustments can then be made remotely to keep the boiler system operating at its maximum energy savings potential.”For additional information about Fulton and its products, or to locate a sales representative near you, please visit www.fulton.com.
